Hi there! It´s been a long time disconnected!
I´ve recently mixed a band from Spain called Distance, and I´d like to see your comments and critics in order to improve my near mixes. The song is called Infinite Blackout, you can hear it here:

What happened to the mids? Its like you took a really good mix and then scooped the mids by like 9db on the master bus o.0

Yea I agree with Morgan. Sounds like it has the potential to be an awesome mix but it sounds like there's nothing between 200 and 2k! I'm exaggerating of course... Otherwise cool song man- good singer too.

Yeap, i Scooped the mids to hell, my be too much...I was serching for some Threat signal/Scamp sound....and may be I focused too much in deleting those frequencies...

Thanks mate! The only reason of the succes of the mix is......I fucking tracked everything except drums. Yeah, with 30€ mics 57´replicas and shity preamp, but I recorded what I was searching for and I had in my head the sound to achieve.
The conclusion: Everything sounds better if it´s tracked well. (not a revelation, you all know)

No one wants to know anything about production...???
