Hi!

I've just completed production of a local metalcore band called I vs. I. Mastering was done by a friend of mine, I tracked, produced, mixed.

Drums: Tamas through stock mics...
Guitars: ESP Horizon, Caparison Dellinger
Amp: Engl Fireball, SM57 on axis a la Andy
Bass: Fender JB
Vocals: SM57
Recorded over the course of one week.

Here's a short teaser.

I've also arranged it with the band to give you exclusive access to the whole EP. So if you liked the teaser on soundclick feel free to enjoy the whole thing as intended in 320kbps.

Thanks for the comments guys. Couldn't have done it without your help!

Hey Man, gotta say, just had some other tunes on my player, and now im listening to your track, seems a bit soft volume wise.
But, i love the guitar sound, kick doesnt really fit into the mix imho, guitars could come up a bit.
Other than that, i love the overall sound!

cheers

I don't think volume (or lack thereof) would be an issue... Dunno what you're listening to, but I think it's pretty hot volume-wise... Besides, mastering wasn't my work! :D

Thanks for the comments though! Appreciate it! :D

Hahaha no, I think he did a great job... I just can't imagine what -3dBFS stuff JeroenV is listening to!! :D

I think the mix's sounding great! I think the vocals get a wee-bit too reverby at times, but that's just a matter of personal tatste, I guess. The singing is top notch, but I'm not sure I dig the scream vocals, to be honest. That's obviously not a matter of mix, tho.

Yeah, the vocalist is certainly not a screamer and it shows... But his singing is great! :D

Thanks for the comment! :D
