Ill be in NYC and the surrounding area from the 13th through the 20th. I need some idea of what good places there still are to hang up there. I oved away 4 years ago and havent been back since.

Anyone in bands on the board playing gigs around or on those dates let me know ... Ill be there !!!

Good places to hang out? the village of course, and Ave.A/ St.Marks area.
always has been my favorite.
There are also tones of places in upper east side... but more on the yuppie side.

If you go down to SoHo, theres like 500 bars and a bunch of drunk fuckers. I'm sure you can find something you like over there. I forgot the name of it, but this one place has a waiter that looks exactly like Mike Akerfeldt.

Yeah Soho is fantastic... and has one of my all time favorite Sushi place too!


If you want a great cheap lunch one day, go to chinatown!
I don;t touch chinese food normally (american-chinese food is soooo nasty)
but in China Town you can find REAL chinese food for $7!
Make sure to try the honey glazed roasted duck...

i lived in NYC for 25 years and i dunno whats still open.

But thats for the heads up!!!

i dunno if i can get to Middletown while im there Im at th mercy of other peoples vehicles so we will see what happens, but it would be damn cool to see Will again.
