to every one reading this that isnt a member of this site!!!

Guys,

I would like to thank you all for the info you've put into this resource on the interknot. I have gains tons of knowledge (not to mention great samples) from this forum. As a vocalist / guitar player who's been recording on Cubase in my home for a year or so, I learned about this forum when searching for freeware VSTs. After reading this post, I thought I should join and lend my support and just say thanks. So.....Thanks.
I'll be around.

+1 all the way! you guys are wicked!

Don't be intimidated, I have shit equipment, very little experience, and very little talent, my mixes are nothing special in the slightest. But I put myself out there and I'm slowly learning (very slowly!).

+1 and i´ve been a lurker for a long time (and still am), basically because i´m in the learning process (continuous) and don´t want to post useless comments in tha forum. Here and there i will put my finger but i´ll remain Lurking.

PS. This is a great Forum:worship:

I lurk here pretty avidly. I've made 1 post, but I come here and just read up. I guess I don't really have many questions, most people already ask what I want to, and I just follow instructions. For example, I spent last night trying to get GuitarHack's impulses to work, and I just recently figured it out and am liking it. So I just came back on to read up on it some more and see what I could find...

JOIN UP!!!

seriously guys, you come on here looking for production tips and stuff to make your music better... thiknin that you'll find the answer to make real good mixes etc...

what you dont realise is that there is so much some off us know
and also so much that you also know..

the best way to learn here is to commucate and ask each other questions. help each other out and at the end off the day.. it may very well benifit you!

i reckon some one could re-phrase this professionaly and make it a sticky for all people to read!

it will help us all!

untill then.. could everyone try keep this post noticed for other too see!!!

cheers!

p.s. i just thought it would be a good idea :p

hey man, I hear ya.
However

1) There are many, many who have lil to no experience (like me) and thus don't have a lot to contribute yet.

2) There are many, many who chat nonetheless (like me) going by the rule to ask stuff, even if it is the stupidest thing to say (like me) just to get punished for not knowing better. But I'd rather get some honest, straightforward feedback that my stuff is shit, this way I can learn and improve faster than if just getting positive feedback...

My point is, I believe there's a lot of lurkers/guests/visitors who may "fear" the overwhelming power and experience some contributors to this forum simply have and make them daunt. :worship:

I too am often not very confident in the results I get but when the first phase of frustration is over I'm glad people showed me where to improve.
That's what a forum is for, amongst other most valuable things.

If they just wanna lurk, let them lurk. Besides, I don't think they're that many considering there's also bots and stuff surfing these pages...

Just joined today. Been lurking for a few and didn't want to mess up the forum with useless "what's the best mic evar?!?" posts. Great forum btw. I've been using a lot of info found here already.

Welcome guys.
