Alright, I'm through Entombed, it's meh after another listen.

Mercyful Fate fucking rules, but those of you with taste already knew that.

I'm on Naglfar - Sheol right now, and this album fucking kills. I haven't heard it since it came out, I can't believe I didn't remember how good the guitars were!

That one took awhile to grow on me. "Morning Star", "To Ride, Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth", "Wolverine Blues", "Uprising" and "Clandestine" all are better choices and highly recommended.

Damn right, my personal fave is "Of Gorgons Spawned Through Witchcraft". That song fucking slays!! :headbang:

Modus Vivendi

hahahahaha, there is an asian run lounge in my area that I frequent named this ... wtf does it mean anyway?

I guessed it as manner/mode/[in english, the term "way" would work good in this context] of life. Checking the link that was provided by Maren it proves that my guess was close to correct. god damn I rule

You're right, holy shit. That song is UNREAL. And EVIL *shudders*

I'm onto to Tesla. Not that I believe many around here would like it, but I have to say, this is a REALLY good record! I always loved Tesla's hard blues approach to good ol' rock & roll, and for a band who hadn't put out a viable record in over 10 years, this last one is a stupendous effort! Me likey!

Are you kidding? Mechanical Resonance OWNS! One of my favorite hard rock albums ever. Can you say Modern Day Cowboy? :headbang:

I have to check that out when I get a chance - the last one I ever heard was Psychotic Supper.

I'll venture forth to say that this is WAY better than Psychotic Supper and can proudly join Mechanical Resonance & Great Radio Controversy as a quality Tesla release!

If you really dug Tesla back in the day, it's definitely worth a purchase. Otherwise, maybe try to download it somewhere first. But I like it a lot!
