I'll leave my personal comentary out of this first post until I can make up my mind.

What do you think? Is he going nuts, is he already nuts or is this all a weird publicity stunt?

It would seem that way... I mean it's abit too much, isn't it?

Although ofcourse, it could be both. I don't see any reason why he would pull a stunt like that. Certainly when it means loosing fans in the process. That whole breakup and new singer business could have been handled ALOT better, so I have my doubts on weither this is a joke.

Whether it's a stunt or not I won't be buying his stuff. He could come up with something better as a stunt. I think he's gone bonkers.

Reasons: firstly, there's this suspicious post from the webmaster, then this picture depicting Tolkki with red paint (= very fake blood) in his face which looks like a parody of the MissK blood pictures and a reaction to the fan's reactions, and then, as I'm told, most of the Kabbalah text is taken from a website instead of being his own words.
I have a feeling that he's sitting at home and laughing his ass off right now.

What I find strange is that, if this were a publicitystunt why does he seem to aim at getting bad publicity? I mean people hate him, and those who doesn't thinks he's loosing his marbles or is laughing at his feeble attempts.

I don't know, looking at his messages on strato.com's forum it would seem he's serious. If this is a stunt I just don't see the point or the plan behind it.

I think he'd get as much good publicity with this stunt as he does bad. I've never even listened to Stratovarius, but personally, I would find it completely hilarious and would have far more respect for the guy if he pulled a stunt like this.

I think you are a minority then, and in this case I think that's a good thing. He has created great music before, and I'm sure he will again. But all those outbursts at fans and accusations against kotipelto hasn't really worked to his advantage.

If you are new to this circus around Tolkki, Kotipelto and Miss K, the above picture looks hilarous and it seems obvious that it's a joke. But with the recent events behind this it does make one think. Add this to the fact that the whole statement aswell as the picture was taken off the official homepage.

In all my life, I've never seen a guy take so much verbal abuse from his "fans" before. He's recieved death threats, had human shit packaged and sent to him and Miss K, and constant flow of hate mail. It wouldn't surprise me if he's truely going over the deep end.
