I think this is one of the most MASSIVE floortoms you'll get

it was a really cheap tom (80€*I think) with new heads and an Audix D6....I kinda like it

Kick drum mics on floor toms are fun to play with, esp on slower stuff

Really not a fan of that insanely hyped transient attack on toms. It just makes them sound like tuned kicks.

The hard samples would probably make very useable kick samples if gated a little though.

yeah, but for fast rolls etc it's often necessairy to have some 6k in there to cut through the guitars.

btw...I don't really like the other toms, so I haven't done much to them so far...hope I'll find the time soon though
