I am soon going to transfer the stuff i have been writing from accustic to electric. I need a tone similar to interpol,john mayer(yes john mayer), my bloody valintine(not the metalcore band but the shoegaze band).
Basiclly it needs to be reverb-ish but still cut like a razor. I am running a Prs custom se into a zakk wylde overdrive, vox wah-wah and then into a line 6 spider 3. This set up is for practice only. But i need to get has close as possible. if someone could give me a in depth answer including the channel to set and which light to use and knob settings.
