No order

1 Tomas Haake, Meshuggah
2 Dave Lombardo, Slayer
3 Gene Hoglan, Dark Angel/Death/Strapping Young Lad
4 Peter Wildoer, Darkane
5 Per M Jensen, The Haunted
6 Charlie Benante
7 Richard Cristy, Death/Control Denied
8 Raymond Herrera, Fear Factory
9 Sean Reinert, Cynic/Death
10 Pete Sandoval, Morbid Angel

How could no one mention Mikkey Dee? He would be the number one, then of course Charlie Benante, Gene Hoglan. Richard Christy, Paul Bostaph, Dave Lombardo, Danny Carey (Tool), Vinnie Paul, Roy Mayorga and Raymond Herrera. I wouldn´t vote for Igor Cavalera coz I think he´s not that technical. Mayorga blows him away on every Sepultura song.

Just wait till you see Mikkey Dee live....he doesnt stop playing flat out at any point. His drum solo is also a sight to behold. Not that I am biased of course (!)

MHB

Mikkey is my most fave drummer and I´m writing this because I've seen him live twice (including this muthafukkin solo) and I'm looking 4ward to see him for the third time on Anthrax/Motörhead tour. Charlie and Mikkey on same stage, I think I'm gonna die!

He hasn't done much lately, but back in the 80's when Crue was on top, Tommy Lee's drum solos were the best part of their concerts, and with each concert, they just kept getting bigger and better...until the band self-destructed.

Speaking of drummer's that were good in the 80's, there was a day when Lars would have made anybody's top 10 list easily. How the mighty have fallen...

Guess that's what happens when you lose your left foot. :p Plus I think Lars should join Spinal Tap, that way he'll die in a bizarre accident. :D
