That's some excellent prog metal you have on your list there! I can't recommend Opeth, Aghora, and Cynic highly enough.

That's a good choice for a first Opeth album to buy, but if you don't see Blackwater Park in your CD shop, get anything by them, they're all good (don't get Deliverance or Damnation first though - they're good but they won't be a good introduction to the band).

Cynic's album is called Focus and Aghora's album is self-titled.

I got COB Follow the Reaper yesterday. What a kick-ass album!!! I don't like the vocals but the music, harmonies, riffs and soloing are just too good!

It's too bad to hear this! You need to move to America where some focused energy will allow you to make plenty of money. You can even develop some hobbies that make you an extra 10-15 thousand a year!

The best find for me this year has been a couple of Mekong Delta discs. This band is awsome and I hope that they re-issue their whole catalog!

i still gotta get the rest of the Syx albums only one i have so far is the odyssey i'm too broke to buy another yet.. and utopia doesnt have the best selection. ..so im lucky if i can buy maybe 3 albums a year at $30-$40 a pop. In the states theyre alot cheaper arent they?

I paid $42.95 for Evanescence..ugh!! and it wasnt even very good, the mixes i had dled were better.
How much is the Star One set?? Because I really want to get that, but it seems like it would be expensive.
