It's late enough in the year that we can post our lists with little fear of them changing, yes? :D

10. Children Of Bodom - Hate Crew Deathroll
9. Skyfire - Mind_Revolution
8. Andromeda - II=I
7. Time Requiem
6. Edge Of Sanity - Crimson II
5. DGM - Hidden Place
4. Tomorrow's Eve - Mirror Of Creation
3. Evergrey - Recreation Day
2. Kamelot - Epica
1. Solefald - In Harmonia Universali

I have yet to hear the new Adagio disc, but I'm sure it would make it onto the list. I might be missing something, so I'll prolly be updating my post. :D

hmm...

1. Children of Bodom - Hate Crew Deathroll
2. Adagio - Underworld
3. Rage - Soundchaser
4. Dimmu Borgir - Death Cult Armageddon
5. Helloween - Rabbit Dont Come Easy

not top 10, but only cause I dont think I bought 10 new studio albums this year (tho the live Edguy and BG were killer).

11) Suncaged - Suncaged
10) Nightrage - Sweet Vengence
9) Adagio - Underworld
8) Section A - Section A
7) Nightingale - Alive Again
6) Dead Soul Tribe - A Murder of Crows
5) Devin Townsend - Accelerated Evolution
4) Anthrax - We've Come for You All
3) As I Lay Dying - Frail Words Collapse
2) Edge of Sanity - Crimson II
1) John Arch - A Twist of Fate

I have 11 because I really like the Suncaged album, but nothing is really groundbreaking there. Just some good progmetal tunes.

Well, here is my list of top 10 (in no particular order) :

1. Adagio - Underworld
2. Opeth - Damnation
3. Derek Sherinian - Black Utopia

6. Mors Principium Est
7. Kamelot - Epica
8. Dew-Scented - Impact
9. Arch Enemy - Anthems Of Rebellion
10. Deathchain - Deadmeat Disciplines

I think it's a great mixture of Death/Prog Metal! :headbang: :heh: :headbang:

Evergrey - Recreation Day
Dimmu Borgir - Deathcult Armageddon
Black Label Society - Blessed Hellride
Children of Bodom - Hatecrew Deathroll
Kalmah - Swampsong

...everything else released this year that should've been good really sucked.

I haven't heard the new DT, but I have this feeling it's gonna be a shitter. Dunno, seems like there's a healthy amount of nu-metal on the disc, or at least that's what some people say. Eh, I'll reserve judgement until I hear it.

Morbid Angel - Heretic
Zyklon - Aeon

Poverty's No Crime has a new album?
Yeah, they do. Officially due out in the US according to one site on November 18th. IMHO, the album continues the trend established on One in a Million. Needless to say I'm preferential to Symbiosis, Autumn Years, and Slave to the Mind.
