It was just a pessimistic remark how not every parent expect a lot from their child even if they give him/her everything. Just give that kid enough money so he doesn't complain or stand in adults way.

anyways, what were we talking about? oh yes, about me being the sweetest "real" elder brother on the anathema board.

You shocked your monkey? That's really what sweet elder brothers do...

Whew... I gotta bring this topic back up 'cause last friday I saw a movie that rocketed straight to the top of my list of dark movies. It was this french film called Irreversible and it tells pretty straight forward revenge story but in reverse (like Memento). What makes this so dark film is the whole sickening mood of the film, the use of camera and the truly horribly brutal violence.
Now I've seen a lot of twisted, sick, fucked up movies but they almost never hit a nerve in me, 'cause usually you just can't take 'em seriously or they're sick just for the sake of being sick. Irreversible was different in a way 'cause the violence was realistic and it was set in the everyday life. It was there for a reason. That stuff happens everyday somewhere... I tell you, never I've been watching a movie being so close to :puke: because of the mood of the movie (oh yeah, plus the brutal violence)

I never walk past a fire extinguisher comfortably again :zombie:

Was that one of those Rakkautta&Anarkiaa -movies?
Who's the director?
Still going on in some cine?
Have you seen (any other) good ones in R&A?
Do I ask many questions?
Do you feel I'm examining you?
Do you think I'm funny..? :D

*Yes it was.
*T'was directed by Gaspar Noé, guy who directed light-hearted movie called Seul contre tous (I stand alone). That was focking dark, also :)
*I've still like eight or nine movies left, and I'm thinking of buying more tickets :D
*So far I've seen couple of excellent movies: Miyazakis new anime called Spirited away, this little scifi-weird-thriller Donnie Darko, some Korean movies etc. etc... today I have more Japanese films that should be great stuff... :hotjump: this is usually the highlight of my year, this festival I mean...
*Well, you DO ask some questions, maybe even many questions but definately not too much. eh :dopey:
*Do you feel I'm worth of examining?
*I think you have an ability to be somewhat amusing at times. ;) :D no, you spark and shine. uhhuh?
