^this perhaps isn't the most outstanding sample of his vocals-display, but his voice is everything but bad.
it's filled with emotions entrapping the songs, power and dedication for singing and making music, and you can hear that in every one of his songs. i adore the slight fragility still in his voice that he, in my opinion, gives to the songs making them unique and utterly passionate like no other band can. HE IS THE BAND, for the most part actually.

but i can respect your opinion if you really feel this way :).

I don't know.

When i hear singers like that i think of Dickinson or Halford. I grew up listening to them and thats who i compare them with anytime i hear someone singing uh, normal.

Like i said, music is killer. I guess i will just have to hear more before i pass to much judgement.

That video seems hardcore until the song starts. It's all like "This will make you scared because it's so hardcore and brutal and shit" but it sounds like it could scare a 4 year old. I've heard hip hop that is more metal than that song.

^^ah i see your point, yeah his vocals aren't bright (if that's what you call it), it's kinda sand-ish, if that makes any sense at all. he can't be compared to halford and alike, it's a totally different genre :).

^well, it's not really meant for you to shit your pants, sweetheart. they're just showing you what the album will sound like and create a bit of atmosphere. but i understand, listening to hiphop's tainted your mind :p
