Look people. I hate to be criticising, but everybody I know who loved Trivium has burned their T-shirts since they released their 'The Crusade' album. They're trying to be Metallica too much and nobody likes an uber-conformist. They claim to be original, I really liked their 'Ember to Inferno' and 'Ascendancy' now they go along and make the most stupid attempt of an album by 'doing Metallica in 3 years'? If anybody loves Metallica and reads Kerrang!™ magazine you would've recently set your eyes on an interview with Matt Heafy explaining how much more superior they are from their 'preceeders'

in order to keep fairness I watched triviums video " The anthem" and I think aydy beats it. the song doesnt really sound like a metallica rip-off but its nothing special at all.

Atleast AYDY is more original than the Crusade. If I wanted to listen to 80's thrash metal theres plenty of other options to choose from. No matter how hard they try theyre just going to be a bunch of posers with nice ass guitars.

I officially cast my vote. It goes to...neither. I like Are You Dead Yet? and The Crusade a lot for what it is. Simply put, I like them for their own reasons.
