Devy Metal. It's quite unique stuff. Every album by Devin Townsend band is different to others..
Strapping Young Lad is easier to define.. It's pure ass-kicking aggression.

Strapping Young Lad is ok..ive got the City album and the only songs i like off there are Oh My Fucking God, and Home Nucleonics. As for COB every song they have made is awsome..

You can't really describe Devin's magic, you could only listen. My advice to you is to head over to mp3.com and search for devin townsend. You'll find about 6 or 8 songs!

whats up Jester of Death, glad your into Devin Townsend, a whole lot now.

my advice to people who are interested in Devin is to, go to Hevydevy.com and buy the damn albums, seriously these albums are the best things I've ever heard.
getting the mp3's first will be a good idea, but one of the most important part of Devys albums are the flow of it.... it's perfect, it will take you away....
well that's my opinion.

mmmmm.... those songs seems pretty hard to get into, especially olives, plus you seem to be a big power metal fan...
maybe try looking for a song called "Life" by Ocean Machine,
or try listening to coupple Strapping Young Lad songs. "Earth Day" from Terria, maybe a good start too.
