Tremlo

I've just had the worse luck with guitars recently

Last night the tremlo litterally crumbled, sure it was getting abused at the time

Can anyone suggest a decent type of Floyd replacement that stands up to regular abuse ?

schaller makes the best floyd rose bridges, period. THats what came with my Caparison.

OFR > Schaller.

SChaller and OFR (schaller also builds the OFR tho).
comes down to taste.. i use them both.
i like the gotoh soundwise, but dislike the handling of it.
soundwise the OFR seems to be the in-between soluten of schaller and gotoh

I own OFRs and Schallers, and all my Schallers play better. They are smoother when diving, and seem to divemore effortlessly. They also stay in really good shape, I have a Schaller on my 1990 Soloist, it's the original bridge, and it still works absolutely perfectly. You can't go wrong either way, they both rule, I think when it comes down to it, it's based completely on personal preference. Neither is better than the other. They're just different.
