In past ages, that would have been your bridge, as concerns Schuldiner worship. :p

What changed.

It was 5 AM and I couldn't be bothered.

Look, after all these years we've seen enough "boo hoo, schuldiner is dead. RIP we'll miss you bro..." Let it go, you cunts.

I loved pretty much all of his music, except for "Perseverence". But any sane person would agree that almost all of his lyrics post-leprosy were fucking retarded. Pseudo-intellectual bollox.

and it is our opinion that lauding Chuck or celebrating his death is destructive to metal as it brings these outside elements further into the genre through the weakness of a dying member.
Isn't celebrating his death the opposite of lauding him? Didn't they mean "mourning his death"?

Celebrating his death as in making little memorials to it for years to come, a la good friday.

I don't get it!!! :waah:

I wasn't making a point. I was just leaving a definition for clarity's sake. What was your point? I don't think you were making one. Figures.

I was making the point that lauding someone and celebrating their death don't run in contradiction.

Why were you making that point to me? I already knew that...
It was my mistake; I thought that through your clarification that you were attempting to point out that they were somehow in contradiction.
