i use superior drummer for cymbals, sometimes toms
and i replace the kick and snare using TRIGGER with
slate and LSD samples.

usually i open up a multichannel S2
and place TRIGGER in the kick and snare insert,
just as i would do it on real drum tracks.

is anybody doing it the same way?

i have problems setting up the dynamics correctly
as superior 2 is much more dynamic than TRIGGER (looking at the amount of samples)
even if i set the detail lever very low so that every
superior hit gets recognized correctly, TRIGGER does
only play back mid and hard hits.
the articulation is set to FULL of course.

any ideas how to set this up correctly?

cheers

Using Cubase? Set up a MIDI send on the midi track you're working on and send it to tracks with instances of Trigger on it so you don't have to deal with setting the detail knob at all.

yeah, just tried this in cubase, works, thanks for the tip!

now i just have to find a quick way to setup everything.
i created a MIDI and an audio track with trigger in insert 1 and midi in note set to D1.
then i imported the prepared midi file and set the midi out/sent to audio1 trigger.
works perfect, every hit gets recognized perfectly but the setup is a bit murky...

is this how it should be done or is there another way?
i tried to load up TRIGGER as an instrument track but it didn't work...as expected.

cheers
