ok sneapsters i got a question for u reguarding DMX lighting and midi
ok so here is my dilemma,
my band is already playing to a backing track live so our samples such as bass drops and intro pieces are automatically played during our set... now we are introducing some lights to our stage presence. We will be building a couple risers to stand on as well as putting a strobe in the kick drum and some other lights.
so i know that controllers like the obey 40 have a midi in....
what i was wondering is if i can make an external midi instrument track in logic and have it trigger the different dmx scenes of lighting via midi to go in sync with our songs... i fifure since we are already using logic for our backing track we might as well be able to control our lights at the same time any info on this would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance
