Triggerpad for live use (subdrop)

Yo ;-)

Is there an easy way using subdrops (or other samples) live.
Like a little Sampler built inside a pad to mount it on the drumrack.

I just know the way using a pad --> trigger --> sampler.
I don't want to have a computer or expensive trigger2midi device involved.
Just to hold costs low.

Unfortunately not that cheap, $500... Absolutely awesome device though, works as a drum trigger brain too but only for 2 inputs. That's enough for your kicks though, and you can load your own custom samples into it.

Wow, fucking expensive just for a subdrop ;-)
D'you if there is a single pad who sends mididata?
If yes, I could feed a DR.Sample (Boss) f.e..

As far as I know no pads send MIDI data on their own... You can buy a Roland pad for cheap from one of the TD5 kits or something and run that into a drum brain like an Alesis DM5 which I think already has a subdrop in it... Still, there's no real cheap way that I've come across to be able to do it.

Alesis ControlPad, like the SPDS just minus the actuall sampler, you can connect it to any MIDI equiped sampler and trigger whatever you like.

Didn't see the Alesis Control Pad in real. But I think, pads a more comfortable to play like 6 pads on a cheap plastic thing or?

If the DM5 has a good built in subdrop it'll be ok. Otherwise the Alesis Trigger I/O for 149€ would be also ok.
