I don't think there are many NY residents here ?? There's a pretty cool show coming up...The true-metal festival virus seems to be traveling to the US too these days as there seem to pop up some oldschool-based metal fests.
One of them is this True Metal America. Some good bands there like Attacker and Magus Beast !!

Halloween was even there before Helloween (their debut is one year earlier). I know Halloween was on a sampler even earlier than their debut, but I can't remember wich one (wasn't Metal Massacra, I checked)

Halloween is just as old as Helloween.

I'm hoping to go to the show in NJ, but my plans never seem to work out.
If you do you please give us a review. I heard Attacker might be coming
to Indy pretty soon my dudes from TGOS like a lot of old school metal bands
last month they brought well their newer bands with an old school sound
The Weird Lord Slough Feg and Bible Of The Devil here and it was a kickass
show.

I live in NY but unfortunately i never heard or listened to any of those bands... sad but true... how would you describe them? ... and unfortunately i cannot go to the shows since I lost my job recently and i'll be in San Francisco visiting a friend anyways.... I am going to the Emperor show this friday night in NYC though..... bought the tickets like 6 months ago in advance...

Attacker (cool new album !)

Haloween (released a new album but haven't heard it yet)

Attacker alone are worth those cheap 12 $, I'd pay much more to see them again!

Halloween is also a good live band but their newer material pales in comparison with the older stuff, and their singer isn't as good as he was back in the 80's, which is not the case for Attacker.
