Trying to get big heavy sound... does this sound in the ballpark?

Yo Yo.

I've been trying to get a thick roomy sound with my mixes. By adding some room IR's to a separate bus on the drums. and using more of a "grosser" tone.

Is this sounding on the right path. Excuse the sloppy playing, i just thru it together as a test. and the bass.... I finally got a left-handed bass, and I've never mixed one before. and the strings don't take too kindly to be tuned this low. I usually don't tune like this, but farting around, I thought it sounded cool.

Turn the bass up... it sounds seriously lacking in the low end. What sort of EQ'ing are you doing bass wise on both the bass guitar and rhythms and kick?

(EDIT) Tried to add some more low end, and some more power to it.
