Occassionally, while I'm plugged into my TS808 I get a bunch of radio signals coming through the amp. I'm using good planet waves leads, I have a few of them and have tried swapping them. It happens no matter which guitar I'm using, and I have 3 amp heads and it does it through all of them. Take the lead from the guitar and plug direct to the amp and it stops. Obviously there's a problem with the pedal picking up up radio interfearence. The pedal itself works fine, no worrying noises etc.
Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone have any solutions?
Thanks.

Hmm..I think you will find it to be a shielding problem with your guitar actually. Try turning the gain up on the amp when it is just the guitar into the amp and I'm almost certain you will hear the radio again. The 808 only boosts what is already there, I don't think it is possible for the pedal to pick up radio interference. But I could be wrong...

Tried that bud, with all my guitars. They are fine without the pedal with the gain up full on the amps.
I don't use the pedal for a gain boost, I only have the gain just past the zero point, the level at about 12 oclock. The pedal just serves to make the lead tone more "fluid" sounding.
Thanks for your suggestions anyway.

i had an old digi-tech effect pedal that used to do the same thing, picking up the radio.. never managed to fix the prob till i dumped the pedal. It could very well be a grounding issue on the inside of the pedal.

Always use batteries.
While playing today it didn't do it once. I have it mounted on a ply pedal board with some switches for fx and amp. The board is wrapped in aluminium angle strip, and I'm wondering if its touching the ali and creating the problem?????

your just your getting a strong radio field where ever your playing your axe. happens to me too and changes depending on my location, it happened on my old dunlop wah too, as i rocked the pedal it would change radio frequency. it was messed up
