I did a song with the x30 a couple weeks ago, but I just now tried it out with the x50.

Honestly, the two tones I got are different but I don't know which one sits best for the mix and the genre.

Here's the x30v1.6sov through a g12k impulse:

Here's the x50 B3 through an awesome4pulse impulse:

EDIT: Here's an updated version! Sounds like The Chariot's tone from Long Live.

I reckon the x50 sits a million times better!
This sounds tight as f*** for amp sims, mostly the sims i've heard all sound like hacks, but this, onqel's and catharsis studios songs are really changing my opinion :D

What preamp did you run the guitar D.I'd through?

Thank you everyone for your feedback, it means a lot!

Dearmond Jetstar (sub-brand of Guild) -> TSE 808 (tone on 8) -> TSE x50 -> Catharsis awesome4pulse

x50 settings are:
- EL34 tube
- Bias at recommended settings (-39V)
- Hifi on
- Presence at 5 (Awesome4pulse impulse has enough as it is)
- Low end at 8

The only reason this sounds so scooped is because I scooped 500-1300 Hz region by -3dB. Shouldn't have done that lol

50 sits better, 30 sounds heavier. you said you scooped the mids out on the x50? try notching them back.

and i just want to take this time to say that after i voted, the poll was in the figure of cock n balls. probably of the african persuasion.
