Tubescreamers: MXR GT-OD and Maxon TOD-9

Looks like a MXR copy of the Maxon OD808:

Anyone tried any of these?
I allready have an Ibanez TS9 and TS808 and might be looking for a third TS to the collection. I use 'em for tightening up high-gain amps.

Have you tried the OPA2134 in the TS9? Makes a noticeable difference.

Btw, using this topic...

Have you experimented a Boss BD-2 instead of a TS to tighten the high gain stuff? I liked it though I don't know if that's what's causing some noise to occur when reamping (and yes, i'm running it on batteries).

Not really wondering about mods or distortion pedals, only the two mentioned in the OP.

or you can hit ebay but they go for about 45-50 there.

Same pedal, except it uses SMT components in some parts.
