Uh . . . why don't we just do this.

Why don't we just email songs back and forth to each other when somebody has something that somebody else would like to hear?

Just use some software that can resample a WAV file to a small bit rate MP3 or WMA. I use Adobe Audition 1.5 (formerly Cool Edit Pro). I got it for free on DC++ (along with several thousand dollars worth of other recording software). I can sample an mp3 at 64kb/s and it is about half the size of a normal mp3. That should be plenty small to email on most songs, and the sound quality should be perfectly fine for computer speakers or for simply sampling a band/song/whatever.

Anyway, I can send a song or more to anybody that would like to sample something I have. Finding and using software that can save a song at a smaller bit-rate should be pretty simple for about anybody here. Now that I think about it Windows Media Player should be able to do it as well.

I've been using yousendit.com to share mp3s with foolz, it works pretty well, and lizard sends me mp3s via email all the time.

So now it's out in the open! If you want me to hear shit, send it to nihilistic.shoe@gmail.com and within 6 months, I promise to listen to it!

Looks like he dipped his elbows in raspberry jam. LONESTAR!

The biggest email I've received was just over 10MB.

Listening to songs in 60kbit is not very enjoyable nor fair to the song itself I think :[
Perhaps I'm picky but I think 128kbit songs usually sound pretty shitty too

Here's a cool song though, encoded in a nice format, which you can download :)

Using gmail everyone can have high bitrate mp3s or even lossless FLAC if you're really picky, but I mostly don't give new stuff as much time if I've just got a few minutes sitting here laming around as opposed to listening properly...
