Surbiton. The Posh bit

There's a great Torrent site that I use called www.uknova.com that specializes in UK TV only. It's got to the point where I don't even watch anything anymore unless I d/l it first. Doing it this was means you can watch the gold without having to sit through the shite.

The best thing of all about this site is that it ONLY allows stuff that's not available on DVD, no pre-releases or rips, so any ethical worries that you may have are taken care of.

It needs a sign up, but for all you Anglophiles it's well worth it. I thoroughly recommend the Mark Thomas Comedy Product series, and if the "Best of In Bed With MeDinner" is still seeding, you should grab that right away.

I've checked through www.gallifreyone.com (ridiculously comprehensive) and I think one of the Auton series' and most of the classic Dalek series' aren't actually available on DVD :erk: damned surprising if you ask me!

Yeah I might have to check this out, I love British comedy. It's all funny and shit.

US comedy = Everybody Hates Raymond :yuk: :Puke: :butthole:

Only rarely so often do we get a gem like Arrested Development.

I watched bits of that Nathan Barley thing, I didn't really get it though, thought it was a bit shit to be honest.

I'm looking forward to this new series from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant called Extras, due to be on later this year some time. The Office is still the greatest thing ever.

True. Good to see them pairing up again.

aren't they supposed to be doing a new blackadder also

As long as Ben Elton helps writing it. I dunno -- that last special episode was just crap, so it might be better to leave things well alone.

What a show though, I cannot decide whether II, III, or Goes Forth is my favourite.

You need to watch Arrested Development, it definitely would appeal to the Larry David types.

You people really think all British humor is way better then American? That is 100% bullshit. They have just as much crap as we have. No doubt about that.

I don't think anybody said that "all" British comedy is better. There really is a lot of crap on British TV, just like in any other country, but personally, when British comedy is good I much prefer it to anything else.

Are any of you non-Brits familiar with the show The League of Gentlemen? It's fucking hilarious, really twisted black comedy. There's a film of it coming out next week too, so really looking forward to that.

Yeah, you guys probably don't get to see the real dross that we have to sometimes. Like "Two Packets of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please" and "Game On" and other such horrors.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is as good as anything done by us Brits, easy. Unfortunately we get to see a lot of your crap too, like Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens and other lightweight pap. It's mainly because we have a million cable channels and they have to import the shows to fill the schedules. I won't hear a word against Sunset Beach though... (what do you mean it's not a comedy??)
