Favorite Bands ATM - Weakling, Agalloch, Opeth, Windir, Clutch, Wolves in the Throne Room, Joe Satriani, Pelican, Walknut, Queens of the Stone Age, Enslaved.
Genre - Can't really say any specific genre. Pretty much anything in the middle of the melodic/dissonant spectrum. Cheesy super melodic power/prog metal and noise/grindcore are a little too far off both ends for my liking.

EDIT: I have a weakness for long songs. Nothing worse than ending a song just as the band is really getting into the groove. This is why most pop metal blows.

Hard to say the age I "got into metal". I liked it before I knew what it was, I loved Motley Crue and Metallica's Black Album when I was just a little kid. But I actually started searching it out I suppose around when I was like 13.

It's probably worth saying I listen to as much 'guilty pleasure' pop music as I do metal nowadays. I'm a fan of some of Ace of Base's albums for example. I was listening to Roxette today too.
