how long have you had the 360? if you broke the seal your fucked, but there is a warranty on it so send it in..

You said a buzzing noise? have you done any modding? i would say its the fan, or something is loose in the 360 that needs to be tightened.

I never had the problem so i couldn't tell, but i know that the 360 tends to overheat and can cause problems. Check the 360 FAQ on the site.

Fixing the red lights of doom was pretty simple to me... followed a new tutorial to put some extra heatsinks on the board, and now it works better than ever.

Totally glad I ended up picking up a 360, cause the Wii is just not cutting it. The novelty wore off quickly, and now we're left with dozens of dull games, with no light shining through the pile of shit any time soon.

Their E3 display was pathetic. "Hey, we have some more franchise sequels, a board you exercize on, and a little peice of plastic that turns your wiimote into a ZAPPER!. And we have sequels! Hey look, you can play Mario, again... and MARIO KART! Re-hashing gameplay and giving it a 49.99 price tag is our thing! We also have Super Smash Brothers... which, like the last one, is just a shitty fighting game, with little fucking depth. But we'll have more cameo characters this time! People will eat this shit up just so they can make Luigi kick the shit out of Bomberman. Endless entertainment for your average mindless consumer. As for innovative 3rd party titles? WE DON'T FUCKING NEED THEM! WE ARE NINTENDO!"

And the worst part? They're not even doing Zapper support for fucking Metroid, atleast on initial release. I would buy it if it had Zapper support, just to get the free zapper (and so I could comment on how awful Metroid is from the first person).

And don't even think Virtual Console is the salvation, fuck no. Can't have more then a couple games on your Wii since theres a lack of HD space. Having to delete things to grab new VC games. UGH!.

Not to mention my Wii has been assraped by the couch whale, who LITERALLY created 200 mii's over the last week. So when I sat down to play red steel, (which I still can't get into, controls like a dead rodent), I see that there are HUNDREDS of mii's on my fucking system. The worst part of this? Having to delete all of these space taking motherfuckers.

As for the PS3, I'm gonna buy one as soon as Metal Gear Solid 4, or Silent Hill 5, which ever is first, comes out. I'm sure they're gonna be released on the X360 at some point (Especially Silent Hill 5, MGS may be a bit more of a wait), but for some reason I didn't like the ports of either in the last gen. Not to mention fucking Echochrome. That game looks stellar.

So yeah, the point of this was "Fuck the Wii! Until it finally gets a few note worthy games atleast... In the mean time, I'm gonna pop Gears of War in and kill some fucking shit, and wait till MGS4 comes out so I can blow an entire paycheck to play a game for one night, then never touch it again."

It's true. The Wii's novelty wore off quickly. A few of the games are pretty good though. Like, Excite Truck. That game rules. and Raving Rabbits.

But I'm still waitin' for Smash Bros, Mario Galaxy, Metroid and the others.

Also, sales aren't as TERRIBLE as everyone would like to think. Microsoft and Nintendo (which is going to sink a tad, novelty IS wearing off, but like Eric said, Miyamoto could piss in the audience and call it Mario and people would lick it off the floor) is ahead of Sony right now, NO LIE.

But the numbers aren't like the average consumer would like to think because they refuse to spend $600 (which is getting cut, you know they will, they saw people rejoice when they cut the 60gig. The flow of PS3's that sold. They first have to, like with the 20 and 60 gig, fix bugs, and put the perfect backwards capability of the 60 gig into the 80 gig. Then, THEN sometime they will cut it to $500). the numbers are as follows.

Nintendo: Eleventy billion.
Microsoft: Billion
Sony: NONE OMG $600! TWO WHOLE GAMES :OOO!

I won't go into detail....


360 is great cause it has many games and a year start ahead of the ps3


ps3 has Zero good games to play on it right now...give it another year, and i bet everyone will want to get a ps3...the ps3 has hardware that isn't even capable of being used "yet".

But it all comes down to the games....doesn't matter how much pretty hardware a system has, if the games are not fun...whats the point. PS3 beats them all in hardware...but has NO games...yet.

I like what the ps3 is doing with there new upcomming software that will be free to all ps3 owners...its gonna be amazing!

But right now, i still play ps2 games...i bought all 3 new systems so if a game comes out that i want ill be able to get it...
