Blasting the Virginborn:
Sounds like a B-Side of NMF. Cool but not the sound I prefer. It's a little bit disappointing that Mikael totally sounds like Peter in this song. I think pure Blastbeat-Songs isn't the perfect sound for Bloodbath... A good song, but not the total highlight which I have expected

Sounds a little bit like NMF too but this one is even more cooler. I love those typical swedish leads. This is Bloodbath how I love it. And here sounds Akerfeldt like Akerfeldt ;-)

The break and the Akerfeldt-scream is absolute fantastic! Such a song I haven't expected. A real suprise and the perfect symbiosis of american and swedish Death Metal! Absolutely ingenious!

Yes, this is what I've expected! Ingenious sweden-melodies, fantastic slowmo-parts and Akerfeldt in top form. The sense for groove is also ingenious. This is how the next album must sound! old School as fuck! Seems to be the best song of the EP....
"Unblessing the purity" seems to be very very surprising and even brutal EP which I haven't expected in this form.
I'm really looking forward to hear the complete EP in an excellent quality because the samples can't give a real impression...
But from that what I've heard I'm totally convinced, that this will become the best release of this year....

I managed to hear the sample of "blasting the virginborn" before I left for work (where I am now, waiting for the damn page to load again). Mikael sounds brutal as hell. The riffs are damn nice, Axe blasts the fuck out of this track. Love the leads. So yeah, I love this. Totally worth 4 years of wait.

Am I the only one who feels that listening to 30 second clips of the tracks ruins the first listening of the cd??
Waiting a year and some months for this and having some intense anticipation...I am not going to basically ruin it for myself by listening to the clips, I'll wait till it is in my hands so I can have some full length, high quality brutality.

I JUST got the other tracks to start working for me. This is amazing. I pre-ordered already. Cannot wait for the EP to show up.

This is great news! And I am glad Bloodbath has kept things pretty quiet about this release because it seems like the wait won't be so long now. I was thinking I wouldn't be hearing this until at least summer time

Seems like the player on that site doesn't appear on Apple computers. The first sample plays but I can't find a way to listen to the other ones.
