Don't compare liberals as a whole just based on people on this forum, especially Benmech. He's notorious for hurling insults not just in political debates but in any discussion on this board. I find the other side just to be as bad in general when I've been in political debates. The fact is both sides get way too extreme in terms of their intensity on their pov when in opposition of the other side.

I have a life beyond this forum. No insult intended. People I work with, hang with, hell, even a few in my family. And, 99% of them oddly enough fit my criteria in my posting.

I don't hate anybody who doesn't agree with me on something. I'm not going to sit here and hurl insults at liberal thinkers, either. I just don't get why it seems that liberals seem to be the more violent when disagreed with. You even said yourself it kinda seems like hypocrisy, Milton. The so-called tolerant and understanding liberals are the most vicious and belligerant people when you debate them. It has been proven time and time again on this forum alone. Just look at the insults I received when I defended my Roman Catholicism here in this forum. BenMech told me I had a curable mental problem because I pray. The term for liberals being a wolf-in-sheep's clothing is perhaps fitting.

also, i will go on record as saying racism, bigotry IS NOT ok in my book as an American. it's one thing to be intolerant, but to preach racism and hatred against others is where i draw the line. sure i am prejudiced, but i keep it to myself. we are all prejudiced, but it's how we chose to act or not act upon those feelings that make us who we are. so everyone in this country needs to buck up and realize we live on a pretty diverse planet, inhabit a stolen landmass and we are almost all descended from immigrants ours just got here before others did.
