Unexplained Labeling

It is intressting how many B-Sides there is that are actually better then songs on the actual album.

The reason they are not there is because they are to diffrent from the rest of the songs, like Paradsie Lost "Sweetness".

But one song that really makes me wonder is Quiet World.
This song is like the lost twin of Saw you drown, which made it to the album, and became one of the most popular ones, just look at the DO Survival thread.

These are two song that are musicaly very alike. So the "its to far away from the rest of the album" answer isn't good enough. Possibly whoever decided to not put it on DO thaught it was too much like Saw you Drown...

Well anyway, just something Ive been thinking about recently.

I think Quiet World is easily good enough to make it to the album.Dissolving Bonds and Diaplaced too...So yes B-sides are too good to be B-side.

dont bands usualy say that a b-side is sometimes a b-side because it doesnt ''fit'' in the album, even if it is a great song. it just doesnt fit the tone or story or mood etc of the album.
