Me and my brother have been writing a song for our 'band'.
I'm pretty new to recording.
Guitars & Bass are PODfarm.
Drums are Ezdrummer with slate samples.
I haven't used any EQ yet, i'm not too sure about the levels of my mix.
I'm using a mac with Logic Pro.

once i finish recording the full song i'll upload the STEMS, it would be greatly appreciated if someone could have a shot at doing a better mix.

Sounds quite good, not sure what to point out.

No bass in here right ? Add one if it's no there already or make it sit better in the mix.

Also, the drums part in the beginning sound a bit dull (the part not the tone).

Pretty much nothing hardcore in here though.

There is bass haha, I think I might have turned it down too much. Yeah the genre isn't so much traditional hardcore.. more melodic. I agree with you, the drum patterns are quite bad at the start of the song. Being a guitarist, I didn't really know what i was doing.

Split Ezdrummer into multiple channels, so you have eight or so separate tracks in your DAW (kick, snare etc.) Select what track you want to change and from there, Drumagog 5 which is a vst plugin which you can replace the samples with.
