Quake 3 and the mod Rocket Arena FTFW! Hmm kinda makes me want to reinstall it lol, wonder if anyone still plays?

I did get in the beta for Quake Live but they took out all the fucking gore! What the hell? I couldn't get used to the quake I know and love with sparkles instead of blood when you hit them with a rocket..

Hehe. Well, Quake Live is a great concept and its getting better for every update, blood or no blood.
They just need to fix a better serverbrowser and add more maps.

I preffer TDM or CTF but nothing beats 1on1 if the matchup is good.

Im with you on the nostalgia here, but are you really saying that Doom and Heretic multiplayer is better than Quake multiplayer?

Unreal is better than quake in most aspects, in most games. Though I admit I loved quake 1, it has sucked since.
