Well the Satyricon-gig was pretty fuckin awesome tbh. The music isnt as boring live as it is on record (I have forced myself to listen to the setlist a couple of times so that helps of course) ,it was a really good performance, Satyr is a great frontman. They also did an improvised thing with a fan with a weird stringintsrument, think it was a Hurdy Gurdy, pretty cool.
Also.. Nalen is a great venue, I wonder why metal-bands dont play there more often, maybe its expensive?

Maryland Deathfest coming up in two weeks, just got my plane tickets back to Boston so my best friend and I can drive down.

Not much else on the horizon that I know of, but Kayo Dot and Dispirit in both announced shows in July, so that should be pretty great.

Nice gig yesterday, but the sound was so so and they unfortunately focussed on exactly the albums I care least about (La Masquerade Infernale and Sideshow Symphonies), only one song from The Sham Mirrors and also only one from the debut..

its a theatrical term, like a self analyzing monologue that doesn't really concern anyone but the one having the monologue. fits perfect for the lyrics in the band
