Uriah Heep this Saturday in Chicago burbs...

Ok, I called the club today, and they literally have LESS than 10 tickets available at the venue for sale.
They had about 85 yesterday.
I immediately went to my local TicketBastard and got a pair of tickets.
Supposedly less than 100 are left through TM.

I strongly advise anyone interested to get tix ASAP.

You will not be disappointed.

Amazing show Saturday night.
The place was packed. 100% sell out, with MANY ticked off people outside who didn't get tix in advance.
Very interesting crowd. Many older people who never in a million years you would expect to go to a rock show.

For the locals, Durty Nellies is a great venue. The music room reminds me of a narrower Metro.

Uriah Heep were on fire the whole set. Bernie Shaw is a great frontman. Definitely more of a hard rock / metal front man, than a "Rock n roll" front man. Got a lot of crowd participation, etc.

Setlist was pretty typical to what they have been playing this year (in no order, and I might be forgetting some):
Wake the Sleeper
Overload
Book of Lies
The Wizard
Stealin'
Free n Easy
Gypsy
Look At Yourself
Rainbow Demon :Smokin:
Easy Living
ENCORE:
Sunrise
Lady in Black

Excellent. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Bernie Marsden used to sing for Praying Mantis BTW.
Bernie Shaw was in STRATUS. That band had the Troy brothers, Chris and Tino from Praying Mantis. PM morphed into STRATUS and ceased to exist for a bit as PM. Clive Burr was in the band as well. I had the LP of the album called "Throwing Shapes". It was very AOR and Also very good, IMHO.
