I can't deny that there was definately a "golden era", but like anything else, the family grows and and the "small-town" feel is lost. Not anyone's fault, nothing you can do really, and many of the newer members (TyrantOfFlames, I think EVIL wasn't here until more recently...) have been very cool/intelligent/insightful/good additions.
