Using a virtual TS for reamping?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience using a plugin such as onqels new 808 sim in the place of an actual pedal during reamping?

Would it mess it up being before the reamp box in the chain?
Might be a stupid question, just thought I'd see if anyone has any ideas!

i use onqels 808 sim like that and have no issues. I'm pretty sure a few guys around here are trying it.

i once used the virtual tube screamer. worked fine.

yup, works fine, but doesn't sound 100% same, but close enough.

TSE808 works fine, can be similar to real TS, there is some differences, but TSE808 is modelled maxon, my screamer is TS808 mod.

I use the PODfarm one quite a bit actually even though I have a real TS9 sitting here as well. Neither are really "better" than the other, just slightly different flavor/sound. The PODfarm one is a little smoother in the mids and a little tighter sounding than my TS9, not a crazy difference though.
