using ampsims live???????

guys i want try some ampsims live!!!
3 days back my brother's Pod hd 500 just got burned... its all dead now
i have a gig with in few days thinking to try some ampsim prob x30 or x50
but how? i dont know it will be stable or not!!...
i think my Hp laptop can handle it :|

doesn't the pod have warranty?

you can sure use amp sims live. just give an output from your soundcard to the audio guy.
i'm using amp sims live often and they never crashed on me.

Just one little tip. Don't forgot to turn off "powersaving/sleep mode" on your laptop ;-)

@lbtm the warranty is over a long time ago...and honestly i dont like it...
i was thinking if i could use the tone which im using during recording would be cool right??
then there will be some similarity with the live and recorded song... the tone i used to have in the pod is totally diffrent and bad
so whenever i play the songs in live i never got the vibe from it...
its running smooth at 64 i would prob turn off everything without the daw
@Kohugaly hahaha not only that the wifi connection also or else its gonna make some huge network noise...

Sure it's gonna work then. If you're the only guitarist you can also use mda Stereo to get a wider sound (just pay attention for phase issues). Since I started using amp sims live my client base has increased. You can sure get a much better tone applying all kind of effects you would use in the studio.

It's a VST plugin that creates a stereo effect out of a mono track called: mda Stereo.
