.... to avoid machine gun effect.
I was listening to Gojira L'enfant... today and noticed that there is a completely clean kick and snare at the start of track 7.
I ripped it into logic and cut the kick and snare then duplicated them onto 6 tracks each then put a pitch shift plugin on each track and used tiny pitch shifts on each then bounced them all and cut them into samples.
Seems to have worked really well.
I have made a trigger instrument for the kick and snare but don't have my ilok at home so I have created a loop in logic with random order of the pitch shifted samples to test.

What do you think?
I'm pretty sure it is not ethical or legal to share the trigger instruments but it is pretty easy to do this yourself and sounds much better than the exact same sample for each hit.

Yo mickrich! Nice n sick dude. Been doing this a lot too and works so damn well! If you want it to be legal, then go pick up CJ´s one shot snares, and make those into pitched multisamples. Real cool! Thanks for bringing this up mickrich
