UXFEST SUNDAY 6th AUGUST 2006 -

This years Uxfest will take place at Islington academy (and Islington bar academy) on Sunday 6th August 2006. 21 bands, 2 stages, one day, raising money for charity through rocking the hell out.
By the kids, for the kids has always been our motto, but weve just grown up a bit. The rowdy teenager Uxfest has fled the nest and moved out to go it alone in the big city. Still powered by penniless volunteers with a love of the big music, Uxfest 2006 is bigger, harder, faster than before, but still cheap, fun and for a cause. Yes, Uxfest isnt in Uxbridge anymore, but would an Uxfest by any other name still rock as hard? Uxfest represents heavy music new and old from the UK (and sometimes further a field!) from comedy ska to death metal and everything in between.
The full line up will be up in the next couple of weeks, tickets are onsale now at 10 available through ticketweb. All money raised will go to charitys.
