V30'S vs G12T-75's

But I was wondering for the real low tuned stuff like B.
And to aswer this, the frequency range (how low/high) and the amplitude of low frequencies are to different things. If the speaker isn't able to translate a (Low B) fundamental very well, harmonics will still be translated. It's not unusual to cut the low end from a guitar below fundamentals in the mix. Should not be a problem.

I'm running into a decision issue here:

I have the choice between a slanted 1960av for around 300 (45min drive) or a straight 1960b for 360 (3 hour drive).

I really don't know what to do! I'm running a Dual Rec Roadster boosted with a TS9.

I'm looking to get a Gojira type sound and I know they used marshall's before (not sure if they had v30's or the 75's in there) but now I know they run EVH with v30's...

help!

Slanted 1960AV. Closer, cheaper and it sounds good. ;)

Both sound good.. if you want to be safe, use V30, they seem to be allot easier to mic up.
But my favorite sounds have been recorded with G12's, i just think that they sound broader and crunchier, but at the same time, its hard to get a really good sound out of them, but when you do it definitely beats the V30(Thats my opinion.).

Edit:

Oh, and to make things clear: I dont play downtuned modern metal like most guys on this forum! ;P
