I just stumbled upon this group of chicks from Brazil who play some pretty brutal death metal. They sound old school, like Entombed/Suffocation ect. Check them out!

Wow, that's great to see. Extra kudos to the vocalist, I've heard many a girl try to growl/grunt and it come as little more than a wimper and that chicks' vocals are very good, and from the stuff they have on their MySpace they've got some nice riffs going as well.

But this really makes me wonder... Why are there no famous female guitar shredders? Seriously, I can only recall 2 good female metal guitarists. Surely, men have no advantage when it comes to guitar playing (It's not really physical thing now is it?)

I guess it's in the way girls and boys are grown up. Girls play piano or something and guitars are for boys... Seriously, I just don't know...

There are some good Death metal bands from Brazil and this band is another one. I will be sure to check out their album.
