SEPTEMBER 25, 2003 VEHEMENCE ALBUM ARTIST UPDATE

Vehemence have been appointed by Metal Blade Records to work with artist Wes Benscoter formally from Japan, current resident of Pennsylvania and artwork creator for bands such as Vader, Mortician, Slayer, and Sinister. Artists Badfinger and Scott Wilfong will also be featured within the Helping The World To See CD layout. Wes Benscoter's artwork can be seen on http://www.wesbenscoter.com

Badfingers artwork submitted was awsome, Metal Blade just didnt seem to think so after having it get reviewed with all the other staff members of Metal Blade Germany and USA. Some were for it an against it. The artwork submitted by Scott and Badfinger will be posted when everything is official and more of the layout artwork is complete. Sorry Badfinger, for the cover opportunity, Metal Blade just intervined on this one. We were already happy with that you had going, we fought for it but lost to the mentioning of Wes Benscoter which is interested in doing the album artwork.

It is really exciting that Wex will be doing the cover artwork. His talent is so capturing, and that will most definitely get a lot of peoples attention!

and yes, Badfinger's work was awesome. We stuck by it, but ultimately, Metalblade has the final decision. We are going to try to incorporate it somewhere in the layout. Thank you Badfinger for the great art!

Well guys, at first, I was just saying "I feared that all the time", but after thinking about it, I see thats a great thing. I know Wes work and I guess, that someone official look at my work is worth the effort. You can still count on me and I will work as hard as I can. I know my flaw is, that I can't draw, but normally I'm a writer and not a gfx geek, at least I think that.

Thank you all for the confidence in me so far and for the nice teamwork. It's quite a pleasure

Badfinger your work is pretty badass so don't worry about it. All the different artists adding to HTWTS will simply add to it's individuality, and will assist in it becoming a best-seller.
