Are the vendors going to be in Vinyl like they were last year...as well as opening the doors to vinyle before the show like last year? I think that worked out great so I was curious to whether or not it would be the same.

Not if they're smart. It gets really warm and stuffy in that room, and wearing vinyl in that sort of environment would be tantamount to insanity.

I think Glenn already posted that the vendors will be upstairs in "The Loft," which is yet another club-type venue above Vinyl. Let's all pray, for the vendors' sakes, that the elevator is working.

Vendors are in the same room as last year. The only thing moving is the pre-party this year. Next year could be a different story....

For humans, no.

For vegetables, however, there's a strict limit of two months in age, because after that, most veggies and fruits -- including pumpkins -- get kinda gnarly.

Yep, opening early for Gold Badgers. As for time, I think it'll be an hour before the doors open to regular ticket-holders. Glenn?

Earthlink Live: the quick tour.

Entrance to the venue is directly off W. Peachtree Street, and is a long covered walkway. Directly ahead are the doors to the venue lobby itself, which is where tickets and GB's will be checked for ProgPower itself on Friday and Saturday.

To your left when facing the doors, close to the street, is the entrance to "Vinyl," which is the smaller club in which the CD dealers will be housed. No elevator usage is required.

Above Vinyl, and I'm not sure how you actually get there since it wasn't open yet last year, is 'The Loft,' which is the larger room where the pre-party will be held.

So: Earthlink Live's lobby and Vinyl are pretty much at the same level. The Loft is one floor above.

Thanks! Yeah, I think I saw the Vinyl club when we drove by Earthlink last time we were in Atlanta. So just to make sure I have everything right....the Prog-Power DVDs and T-shirts will be sold in the Vinyl Club also?

No. I have a seperate table for my merch located in the main lobby of Earthlink.
