Very Accessible/Melodic Black Metal

Vinterland - Welcome My Last Chapter
Dawn - Nær Solen Gar Nider For Evoghe
Dawn - Slaughtersun (The Crown of Tiarchy)
Varathron - His Majesty at the Swamp
Hirilorn - Legends of Evil and Eternal Death
Abigor - Nachthymnen (From the Twilight Kingdom)

Samael - Worship Him
Samael - Blood Ritual
Samael - Ceremony of Opposites

Fairly accessible and they're the big influences on Anael's sound.

personally I find most Melo-Black accessable, but most of all:

Cryptic Wintermoon
Graveworm
Mirzadeh
and
Naglfar

(didn't think 2nd wave like Rotting Christ/Samael would be considered "melo-black", I don't see it that way, at least not when you put it besides these keyboard-melody groups named above)

but regardless what you want, Samael's Ceremony of Opposites is a top 10 album of all time, genre be damned.

be sure to get the reissue with the Rebellion EP included

This is a good list (especially Dawns Slaughtersun).

It isn't but he named Anael, so I mention Samael.

Anael would be what you're looking for then. Maybe some Xantotol and Holy Death as well, but not as much.

Woods of Ypres, think melodic black, with Bergtatt riffs and acoustic passages.
