Very Unofficial Top 20 Rock Bands

As much as I like Queensryche how the hell did they get the number eight position. I think it's cool, but something isn't right about that. Look at some of the bands they are ahead of. Thier fan club must have gotten wind of this and emailed a ton. At least they are getting some press.

Man, I don't think Pearl Jam would even be in my top 100 greatest American rock bands let alone #1.

My pick for the all time greatest best most important most rockin' and fun American rock band would be the Ramones.... hands down!!

Who would you guys vote for?

What a joke, those reviews always remind me of organic fertilizer...

man what a sucky list lol ... especially the emails about Pearl Jam... they weren't hype? stayed true to themselves? ... they made one good album (Ten) and that was it.. most of those who emailed about Pearl Jam probably were too young when PJ first came out or weren't even born yet to not realize the major Hype they had back then... Nirvana deserves to be higher on the list then PJ... the Replacements, Bon Jovi and QR don't deserve to be on that list... as much as i like songs from each group...

In my view, they've never made one bad album. Great band....they might actually be the best this country's seen. Maybe just...maybe.
No maybe's they dont deserve to be on that list lol each of their albums gets smaller in album sales.. the fact they survived in the business this long does amaze me though... maybe just maybe the albums after Ten were good.. but they only did one "great" album and for that they do not deserve to be on any list... while others do deserve to be on that list who have made more then one great album...

I'm not crazy about KISS but they do deserve to be on the list thats for sure... shoot Hendrix & Joplin deserve to be on that list more then PJ.. though i guess they aren't on it because they are considered solo acts and not bands?

Yeah, you got that right. The one thing I do like about them is that they almost never fail to spark a little discussion. :)
