I'm not all that big on the NWOBHM. I probably have more Saxon than any of the others.

I am. But Saxon is definitively the best, most enduring and consistent of the bunch.

You have to learn to see past Meclitaca they were NOT the only fast metal Band going in the early 80's .. go listen to some old NWOBHM bands and Motorhead kiddo find out where Metallica Really stole their sound from!

I haven't kept up with them since "Solid Ball of Rock" or so. I did notice that they've broken into two factions though and both lay claim to the "Saxon" name. At least from time to time. Biff was always just too damn funny live.
