I need a translation from one of you japanese friends, it's a quote from a very good Mishima Yukio novel called The Golden Pavillion... There's a sentence I'd love to have in japanese (well, romaji) for a work at school... I'd be soooo happy if someone could help me ; problem is, I have like two hours max. starting at this very hour I am writing. I'll post back a message on this thread when it's too late.

That's not the sentence I needed, but it's awesome having this wonderful quote translated in my favorite language.

The translation from Mishima's "Kinkakuji" went along those lines :

"Whoever's goal is to pursue Beauty in all its forms, is doomed to meet the darkest of somber thoughts."

It's a silly translation from a quote floating in my head (in french) at the moment, but it's quite close to it.
