ahh what the hell, just look at some good metal videos you dig and ask yourself why you dig them

I'd like to see a modern metal video that isn't shot in an old mill building, or the like... the random large empty room with a metal band in it has been done to death.

ooo shit whats a gossow? Even though there will be a sub plot in the video the bulk will be performance footage, becouse we are poor bastards and dont want to over shoot the budget. I will make a list based of these replies of tired and silly shit you see in most videos, and make the rest of my band and production staff aware of the things that need to be avoided.

My personal favorites end up being videos where live footage is cut into shots of the band... but then again... those videos would require you have decently shot footage of many of your shows.
